Objectives and Methodology:

Research was undertaken to identify usage and opinions of existing RBI E-Newsletters. The research was carried out among registered users of each E-Newsletter.

Fieldwork took place over an eight week period, from May/June 2010.

In total 6,082 surveys were completed.

Executive Summary:

  • 58% of respondents are managerial level or above
  • 57% are involved in purchasing decisions for goods and services on behalf of their organisations
  • 58% work for SME organisations with less than 250 employees
  • Respondents spend an average of 11 minutes reading our E-Newsletter
  • Top News and Story of the Week are the two most commonly read sections of the E-Newsletter
  • Respondents receive an average of 8 email newsletters relating to their job a week
  • 75% ever click on E-Newsletter advertising
  • 65% have ever submitted their details to an advertiser to download or receive an offer
